FASTON FEMALE INSULATED - "ELPRESS" SERIES -
Material: faston in tin-plated brass with polycarbonate (PC) insulation, in PVC (see table); polycarbonate is halogen-free.
Color: the color of the insulation varies according to the section of the conductor to be combined (see table).
Use temperature: max +100°C (PC), max +60°C (PVC).
Flammability: flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V2 (PC), flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V0 (PVC).
Features: these fastons are made of brass and electrolytically tinned to offer the maximum possible protection against corrosion. During the manufacturing phase, the faston collar is subjected to brazing treatment in order to allow perfect crimping at any point around the collar. In addition, the metal of the collar is double thick for greater mechanical strength and better electrical conductivity. To facilitate identification and/or inspection, the fastons are marked, where possible, with the maximum usable conductor section. The insulation has excellent deformation characteristics such as to prevent deterioration during the crimping operation and maintains its qualities unchanged even in the presence of high temperatures. Finally, the inside of the "EasyEntry" faston type facilitates the insertion of the cable, eliminating the risk of bending the wires.
