PRE-INSULATED MALE CYLINDRICAL CONNECTORS - "ELPRESS" SERIES -
Material: connectors in tinned brass with polycarbonate (PC), polyamide (PA), PVC insulation (see table); polycarbonate and polyamide are halogen-free.
Color: the color of the insulation varies according to the section of the conductor to be combined (see table).
Use temperature: max +100°C (PC), max +90°C (PA), max +60°C (PVC).
Flammability: flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V2 (PC), flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V0 (PA and PVC).
Features: these connectors are made of brass and electrolytically tinned to offer the best possible protection against corrosion. The connector collar is reinforced with an additional brass tube which allows for perfect crimping anywhere around the collar. In addition, the additional tube offers greater mechanical strength and better electrical conductivity. To facilitate identification and/or inspection, the male cylindrical plug connectors are marked, where possible, with the maximum usable conductor section. The insulation has excellent deformation characteristics such as to prevent deterioration during the crimping operation and maintains its qualities unchanged even in the presence of high temperatures.
