CORRUGATED PIPE IN POLYAMIDE 6 BRAIDED IN TIN-PLATED COPPER FOR EMC APPLICATIONS (UL94-HB)
Material: polyamide 6 tube, tinned copper braid.
Color: black tube, silver braid.
Use temperature: -40°C / +120°C (with peaks up to +150°C)
IP protection: IP 68, IP 69.
Flammability: UL94-HB flame retardant.
Regulations and Certifications: VDE (EN/IEC 61386-23), VDE-EMC.
Features: this tube is used in “EMC” (Electromagnetic Compatibility) applications where it is necessary to protect the components from electromagnetic interference. The tinned copper braid produces a tested shielding level up to 80 dB in frequency range up to 30 MHz, according to EN 50289-1-6. Furthermore, the coating with metal braid may be necessary in the event of the presence of incandescent shavings and sparks and is in any case useful for reinforcing the pipe and increasing both its mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion and wear. For a correct professional assembly it is recommended to use the specific metal fittings “ RGE ” for copper braided pipes, which allow to obtain an excellent shielding. If you prefer to assemble the "Quick-System" plastic fittings on the pipe, it is advisable to also use the specific metal terminal bushings, such as “ BOK-AP ”) useful to avoid fraying of the braid and to safeguard the operator's safety; if, however, it is not possible to use them, it is still advisable to apply a heat-shrink sleeve to cover the sharp end of the braid. Resistance to water, oils (max + 80 ° C), gasoline and in particular to acids and solvents. It does not contain cadmium, silicone or halogens.
