THICKNESS CORRUGATED HOSE IN POLYAMIDE 12 BRAIDED IN STAINLESS STEEL (UL94-V2)
Material: polyamide 12 tube, stainless steel braid.
Color: black tube, silver braid.
Use temperature: -50°C / +100°C (with peaks up to +130°C)
IP protection: IP 68, IP 69.
Flammability: flame retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V2 according to CEI EN 61386 specifications.
Regulations and Certifications: VDE (EN/IEC 61386-23), EN 45545-2 HL2, UNI CEI 11170, DB (DIN 5510), SNCF (NFF 16-101/-102), ASTM E162/E662, DNV, LLOYD’S REGISTER, GOST. Le certificazioni sono riferite al tubo corrugato.
Features: the coating with metal braid may be necessary in the event of the presence of incandescent shavings and sparks and is in any case useful for reinforcing the pipe and increasing both its mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion, wear, impacts and attack of the rodents. The stainless steel braid allows for excellent corrosion resistance. For a correct professional assembly it is recommended to use the specific metal fittings for braided pipes, type " RCD… ”, which are characterized by double locking, both on the tube and on the braid. If you prefer to assemble the "Quick-System" plastic fittings on the pipe, it is advisable to also use the specific metal terminal bushings, such as " BOK-AP ”, useful to avoid fraying of the braid and to safeguard the operator's safety; if, however, it is not possible to use them, it is still advisable to apply a heat-shrink sleeve to cover the sharp end of the braid.
Characteristics of the corrugated pipe: good flexibility despite the thickened wall which gives it greater strength. High resistance to continuous movements such as those of robotic machines. Resistance to water, oils, gasoline and in particular to acids and solvents. Excellent resistance to fuels, mineral oils, fats, alkalis, acids and bases. Excellent resistance to UV rays. Suitable for outdoor use. The low smoke emission in case of fire makes it particularly suitable for the railway sector and for applications in places at risk of fire. It does not contain cadmium, silicone or halogens. The wide profile tube is characterized by greater mechanical strength and greater flexibility, especially in larger sizes, thanks to the wider coil profile. Sectors of application: electrical systems (according to DIN EN 60204), plant engineering / machine board, railway (static and dynamic applications), naval, automation, automotive.
