Features: TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer with excellent characteristics. It is similar to rubber, but is generally used in place of PVC compared to which it is softer, more elastic and has greater resistance to low and high temperatures. The TPE sheath has excellent resistance to low and high temperatures, has good resistance to water, ozone, atmospheric agents, acids, aqueous saline solutions, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents and detergents; it has a good resistance to ketones, mineral oils and petrol and excellent resistance to aging. It has extreme flexibility and elasticity and good electrical properties. Furthermore, it does not contain halogens.
