HIGH TEMPERATURE SILICONE INSULATING TAPE
Material: High quality self-vulcanizing silicone elastomer. It has good dielectric strength, excellent elasticity and very good resistance to aging.
Color: brick red.
Use temperature: -70°C / +250°C
Features: the tape must be wound on the cable or on the object, always keeping it under tension and overlapping its edges. The triangular section allows to obtain a uniform and homogeneous thickness. The edges of the tape will self-weld, ensuring liquid, mechanical and electrical sealing and excellent protection of the covered objects. Welding occurs naturally over time, at room temperature, but can be accelerated by means of a hot air dryer at a temperature of 150-200°C and for a duration of 5-10 minutes.
On request: it can be supplied in black color and with increased thickness.
